Below is a smattering of projects in which both the client and myself were happy with the results.
Yes… My current live portfolio is on the small-side, but that’s because I’ve cherry-picked the projects I’ve worked on that I’m somewhat proud of. I’ve done several times more email signature projects; however, oftentimes the client’s desires overcome my design sensibilities and I’m stuck making the client happy with an end-product that is unfortunately not worthy of my portfolio.
Another thing… You’ll find that over time there might be a familiar trend to many of my designs. That’s because the layout is aesthetically pleasing, works in a wide variety of email clients, devices and browsers, and makes my clients super-happy with the end-product. I often continue building on a widely crowd-pleasing custom base template until the next shiny object grabs my attention. Why fix what isn’t broken?
Regardless, my work portfolio should demonstrate that (almost) anything is possible regarding email signature design, but it’s ultimately up to you to decide what you want, even though it’s not necessarily what you need. I’ll do my best to persuade you otherwise.
