Report a Problem…
We’re going to be honest with you… This email design stuff isn’t easy.
Unfortunately, html email signatures will display differently across the wide-variety of email clients that people use every day (e.g. Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail). Then there are all of the different devices that people are using to view email (e.g. smartphones, tablets, laptops) as well as the different web browsers (Chrome, Edge, IE 11, Firefox) and operating systems (e.g. Windows, Mac, Linux)… Things start to get out of hand pretty quickly.
What was once a pixel-perfect email signature design can get “lost in translation” depending on the email client, device, operating system etc. that it’s being sent from (or received by). As you can see in the screenshots below, the exact same html-coded email signature is rendering differently when sent from Gmail-to-Gmail compared to from Outlook-to-Gmail. Outlook does some weird stuff to html emails that are sent from Outlook, specifically adding empty horizontal space where it was never intended. In addition, Outlook degrades the quality of images when sending emails, even when those images are fetched from a remote server (e.g. makalla.com) and not attached to the emails themselves. On the other hand, Outlook receives html emails just fine (for the most part).

We could go on and on about the various annoying quirks of html email signature design, but the main thing to understand is that until all of the email clients, devices, browsers and operating systems agree upon a general standard for rendering email, all we can do is do our best to make sure that your email signature looks as good as possible to as many people as possible.
That being said, we could really use your help… Although we are constantly testing our email signature html code in over 50 email clients, devices, browsers and operating systems, we can’t realistically test every possible scenario. So, if you could do us a kindness and let us know when you encounter a glitch in the matrix, we’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for your help!
